Role of a Tutor in a Child’s Career

A tutor plays a significant responsible role in developing the all-round progress of a child’s life. The education provided by a tutor can be considered as the landmark in his pupil’s life and generates the most influential role in shaping up the future prospects of his learner. Whether in preschools, high schools, public or private schools, a tutor provides a cordial environment for his student to ensure his transformation into a dependable adult.

A tutor works as facilitators or instructors, using classroom presentations or individual lessons to facilitate apprentices learn and apply concepts in subjects such as science, mathematics, or English. They plan, estimate, and allot lessons; prepare, administer, and score tests; pay attention to oral presentations; and uphold classroom discipline. Tutors supervise, inspect and appraise a student’s performance and provide a new direction to his or her potential by implementing newer appraisal methods and techniques. Tutors also put their efforts in framing trial papers, organizing report cards, and interacting with parents and school employees to talk about a student’s educational development or personal problems.
